CGA -> Costa Rica in 39 days!!

   39 days left of CGA and only $390 away from being fully funded? ((***NOW FULLY FUNDED FOR CGA***)) How crazy is that!? This season has been a time where the Lord has kindly and gently strengthened me with power through His Spirit to address, accept and process through hard things. 

• Inner-healing,
• Celebrating,
• taking heart // being courageous
• reconciliating,
• releasing shame and giving grace to myself, and
• receiving hard feedback have been major experiences here at CGA.

Making new, sweet friends that value me and living in close proximity to intentional community is hard too. Why? Well, receiving Love is hard, and putting in the effort to be understood and be vulnerable is not easy. Today in class, my instructor said, “Everyone wants to be seen and known until they’re seen and known.” This statement encapsulates my experience so far:

  Coming as I am, knowing that I hold beautiful gifts for the Kingdom of God, in which I have to also take ownership of my actions, and allow myself to be sharpened, broken, and molded in order to grow. This fruit stems from a place of intimacy with God and valuing your community in which you choose to grow in intimacy with them as well. 

  I’ve been able to see how our mission statement in class is super applicable and encouraging to me, “We will pursuing intimacy with authenticity and ownership.”

Costa Rica financial update: 

I am now fundraising $2,500.00 for my 1 month trip to Nicoya, Costa Rica.

I will be leading along with my sweet coleader and sister, Ellie! We’ve already started chatting and getting to know each other, and so far, our squad is a squad of 25!
