If this season of my life was a song, it would be Hidden by United Pursuit. I am gaining more and more from the Lord, learning and growing more; going deeper in His love, His character and what He has spoken. I’m seeking Him, and releasing worries and lies and doubts to the Lord in more effective and efficient ways.

For those who know me well, know that this season has been a season of brokenness: a valley. Within this valley, the Lord asked me to go to CGA, a 5 month program of leadership and discipleship, and so far, so good.

It’s been a well-needed space to be, to heal, and to not let myself get stuck in life hardships, but instead to continue pressing in. Moving to GA was a big step, and being in new community has been really good for me.

In CGA we’ve touched on many topics that include:

  • the heart of God,
  • our identity in Christ,
  • the different ways we can connect with God,
  • identifying our spiritual giftings,
  • learn about our personalities and the beauty of the body of Christ,
  • the value of conflict resolution, and
  • vulnerability.

We’ve read through a handful of books so far:

  1. The Tale of Three Kings by Gene Edwards,
  2. Spiritual Sonship to Spiritual Slavery by Jack Frost,
  3. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Peter Scazzero,
  4. Daring Greatly by Brene Brown, and we’re now on,
  5. 5 Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni.

I have enjoyed becoming more equipped as a kingdom child. Our class has had the assignment to come up with our own vision as a class, mission, and strategies and tactics. My class and I agreed on our vision this last week, which is: To live as kingdom children. Woohoo!

I have gained more perspective and confirmation on the route I want to take in life.

I’ve grown to trust the Lord more and in new ways.

I’m incredibly thankful.

News that I mentioned on a different platform:

  • I accepted the opportunity and enrolled to Athens College of Christian Ministry in Georgia! The opportunity for me involves receiving college credits (30 credits in total) from the World Race and CGA class towards my Masters degree! I am doing a dual masters program for my degrees in Transformative Leadership and Care and Counseling. I am excited because, I knew before I was going to do CGA that the Lord was preparing my heart to go for my Masters this year… but I WOULD HAVE NEVER thought I would start during CGA. God blows my mind!!! I’m thankful for how God gives great direction and sweet opportunities. I love that He loves giving good gifts. Wow.

 New news:

  • I am actually $5,560/$5,950 funded for CGA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How awesome is that?? If you would like to donate, thank you so much! If you would like to pray for God’s provision, thank you so much! My CGA class ends May 26th, and a week after that,
  • I will leave to a 1 month mission trip this summer (June to July) to Costa Rica that I will be leading through Adventures in Missions. I am holistically preparing for that, and fundraising for $2,500. I invite you walk alongside me in bringing Kingdom & to prayerfully consider supporting me on this trip!

I am thankful, I love you Lord, I love love love you!!!! Thank you for reading guys, and for your immense support!

with much love,
