Hey friends, I just wanted to give you guys an update on what my squad and I will be doing in Nicoya, Costa Rica! Who knew a year later of being in Costa Rica, I would be going again?

What will we be doing?

We will be partnering with the Iglesia (church) Monte de Sión del Evangelio Cuadrangular and the focus will be on, serving the local church in:

• relationship evangelism,
• manual labor projects,
  

• and children’s ministry!

I love that my squad and I will spend part of our summer with the opportunity to support this local church through long-term efforts such as, 

• painting class rooms,
• painting church facilities,
• doing other manual labor projects to create safe and welcoming spaces for outreach, 

• joining in worship,
• evangelism,
• participating in children’s ministry and more!

This trip is not only about serving our ministry partners, but also about growing in our intimacy with God, and as a community of missionaries to walk alongside each other towards Jesus and further and deeper into the arms of the Father. It’s about learning more about yourself, your gifts, and where and how you want to serve in the Kingdom of God!!!

I know that the Lord will reveal, teach, grow, prune, and heal us in this trip, and I am so thankful to lead alongside my friend and sister, Ellie! It’s a sweet opportunity that I’m thankful the Lord had in His plans for us.
