My heart and thoughts as this journey with Lord had began back in October.

“This has been a time that all of my squad mates will be treasuring... in getting closer to God as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and in becoming a family. The love of God has saturated us.

I know you may be wondering as to how I have been doing! Leaving my hometown and family to respond to God’s calling was the most saddest yet satisfying “Yes” to Holy Spirit. We arrived to training camp 10 days ago and if you were to ask me what we have learned, I’d tell you that I learned so much about who God is, who I am, and how important community is. 

We had been praying for and encouraging those who had to re-do the major hike on Monday today.

My squad mates and I are alive and well and walking in victory, thank be to God! It has been an incredible journey getting through training camp with my beloved squad mates. We are a team filled with incredible unity and love to carry each other’s burdens in a way I have never experienced and seen before. God has hand-picked every single one of us for this journey.”

Remembering how I learned so much during those days at training camp is so nostalgic. The Janice from October didn’t know how much more she’d learn.
