We just now got on the plane, so this is my first blog posting on a plane! Whoohoo! I wanted to share what I’m learning, which is… change and transitions aren’t easy things to go through and accept. We were listening to an elevation worship sermon on Transitions. I’ll hyperlink it later once I find it. Shoutout to my mentor who recommended, love you Megan!!! Sometimes we ask God for things, and when we He gives them… we’re like, “Hold up God…. what are you doing?” And He’s like, “I’m working… I’m listening, and also doing what is best for you.” at the airport hours ago—

Anyway, for example, these past days in having prepared to leave our friends in Los Chiles, Costa Rica was hard. Leaving the environment you are used to is hard. Leaving beautiful people you bonded with is hard. Saying goodbye is hard, and traveling days are hard.

Yet, all of these things that I’ve mentioned are experiences that God uses to shape us and grow us. They won’t always feel good, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t bring life to you.

We’re currently at the airport getting ready to get on the plane (Already in the plane). There was a little hiccup with my negative Covid results because it had my old passport number instead of my new one. It through us off, but it got resolved. These things happen… little things that throw you off especially when emotions are already heightened. I’m thankful for my squad and our logistics people that are in charge of all the transportation, location, and planning, and more. They’re incredible. God bless them, Isaiah and Ellie. Anyway, we’re excited to get to Colombia. We’ll be having 2 flights in total to get there… we’ll be eating and napping, carrying our day packs, and maybe nap more? Not sure about everyone else, but I know I’ll be napping as much as possible, hahaha!!

Also, quick story— we’re still on the plane, and the airline we’re in requires you to wear like, the medical blue or medical masks, and not any other mask… and because we didn’t know, we had to pay for the masks on the airplane. We couldn’t pay in colones because its a Colombian airline, and so, they only take USD. As we were trying to figure things out, this kind lady paid for us in USD! We paid her in colones… and wow friends, we’re thankful for how God shows up. I hear Him say, “I’m working… and I love you guys so much.” Please pray for safe and smooth travels for us.

With much love, and until next time (in Colombia),
