test

Here I am, in Platanar, Costa Rica. I just finished going on a walk with the Lord and also finished listening to Harp in My Heart by United Pursuit. So good! It’s been raining on and off today. And actually, it started raining again!!!

It’s so beautiful being in a different country; experiencing life in a different way. Some of us are resting a bit before dinner, others on the other team are sharing their testimony’s with one another, while our hosts’ are sitting on a table outside playing cards, laughing and talking.

We’re currently sleeping in a building behind our hosts house which used to be a church building. We’re helping with various manual labors in which a group of 6 women on our team will be leaving to work in a school until this Saturday while the rest of our squad will stay to help here in Platanar most likely until Friday.

I’ll be sharing my testimony with my new team tonight after dinner, which can be a bit nerve-wrecking. God told me that tonight was the night, and I’ll tell you something… sharing your life story is always a big and beautiful step. Why?

Because you’re stepping into testifying about God’s love and mercy in your life. You realize more and more that those dark parts of your testimony are what makes the light (Jesus) shine brighter. In knowing Jesus, your story has become a story of redemption that you and others can experience while sharing it.

Just as my team encouraged me today to stay true to God’s voice… I want to do the same with you.

Sometimes we overthink or second-guess what God has spoke over us. Sometimes we forget how many times before this new challenge, we have taken those leaps and steps of faith. We have followed His voice… and things have turned out beautifully.

If He speaks to you especially after you’ve asked Him to, will you second-guess what He has said? Or will you go all in and take the leap? If you second-guess, be reminded of His unfailing love and faithfulness towards you. I know I’ve had to.

Así que, hermanos míos amados, estad firmes y constantes, creciendo en la obra del Señor siempre, sabiendo que vuestro trabajo en el Señor no es en vano. 1 Corintios 15:58

  3. Love your transparency! As you share your story don’t forget to share your song:)
Psalm 145:6-7 “They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds. They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully SING of your Righteousness “
