Do you have your sweet place with God? A place where you meet, in your mind or physically? My sweet place is at the beach. I just love sitting on the shore, walking on the sand or big rocks, and breathing in salty air... it’s where I feel so close to God, more aware and where I can just be still, and listen. 

Today, God took me to the beach in my mind today as I spent time with Him. He took me to our sweet place.Aug. 15, 2021 

He reminded me of the rocky shore I went to in South Africa, and the first time I listened to this song:

Lift up your eyes and see

Heaven is closer than you know

Lift up your voice and sing

Know that My love wont let you go

And I wont forsake you

 I remember in Z.A., how needed this was for me, to have left our house, have walked down the sandy hills, to meet Him on the shore. I was expectant and ready for Him to share with me His thoughts the uncertainty and unknown that troubled me. I needed to be held, to be reminded that He was closer than I knew. I was thankful to have gone to this beach with my team because I could also see how He was meeting them on the shore... the way that was best for them. We are unique, and so, He meets us in different ways! I love that. 

It was encouraging and beautiful, seeing how our Father was taking care of us all.

He for sure still is. He is a safe place full of love.

Psalm 84:1 How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts.

He wants to meet with you and I; that we may dwell in the best dwelling place. The best dwelling place? Yes, in Him; with Him. 

Psalm 90:1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.

You are safe with Him, you are secure, you are fully loved, fully covered. This includes your future too. 

Psalm 91:1 He (& She) who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
